The Nordic Smart City Network is a Nordic collaboration initiative with five countries and a network with already 20 cities including the Nordic capitals. The cities share a common goal: to explore the Nordic way to create livable and sustainable cities.

The Nordic cities represent a market with approximately 5.300.000 million citizens and can affect their everyday life. The Nordic Smart City Network contributes to the advancement of Nordic-wide innovation and smart city solutions by aligning common activities, new technology, data and co-creation. The network activities include active collaboration with startups, companies and clusters.

The Nordic Smart Cities Network consists of cities including all Nordic capital cities and the 6 biggest cities of Finland. The Network includes  Aarhus, København, Vejle, Lyngby, Syddjurs, Bergen, Trondheim, Oslo, Stavanger, Tromsø, Kristiansand, Reykjavik, Helsinki (represented by Forum Virium Helsinki), Tampere, Oulu, Espoo, Vantaa, Turku,  Stockholm and Malmö.
